Reporters were denied questions about the Super League to AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli yesterday.
Pioli held a media conference for tonight's clash with Sassuolo, with reporters eager to push the coach about the club's breakaway plans.
"I listen to the advice from my club that asked me to focus on our job and our goals. We'll evaluate what happens in the future. This is not the right time to talk about it," Pioli said.
When a second reporter tried to ask something about the new competition, the press officer urged him to focus his question on the upcoming game.
Sky Italia says Pioli never mentioned the words “Champions League" throughout his press conference.
