Sampdoria striker Manolo Gabbiadini is urging Claudio Ranieri to stay.
Gabbiadini said he hopes to continue working with the former Roma coach.
Ranieri's current deal expires at the end of this season and he is speaking with president Massimo Ferrero about their plans.
“I feel great with him, but the decisions are not up to me," Gabbiandini told Il Secolo XIX. “In a year and a half together, I can't complain about anything.
“There's great esteem and respect, both for the coach and the man. I hope he says, but only the coach knows if it will be like this."
