Leicester City playmaker Harvey Barnes is not going to Euro 2020 with England.
The winger is officially out of the tournament, as he has suffered a setback in his return from an injury.
Barnes has 13 goals and four assists from 35 games in all competitions this term.
According to Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers, Barnes will not play for the rest of the season, and will not be fit in time for Euro 2020 either.
"He's had a slight setback," Rodgers said of Barnes.
"He's just gone in to have a second minor operation to clear up some of the damage in his knee. That will rule him out for the rest of the season. The plan is to get him fit for pre-season.
"It's a shame [he will miss the Euros] because he has been outstanding. The most important thing is to get his knee right."
