Manchester United came from behind to overcome Tottenham Hotspur with a 3-1 win on Sunday.
The Red Devils opened the scoring after 32 minutes through Edinson Cavani.
However, the goal was controversially overruled after referee Chris Kavanagh judged that Scott McTominay hit Son Heung-min in the face during the build-up.
Spurs responded when Son finished off a superb piece of interplay from Harry Kane and Lucas Moura.
United didn't give up however and eventually equalised after 56 minutes when Cavani's shot was saved by Lloris, only to allow Fred to finish from close range.
Cavani finally got his goal to give United the lead with 79 minutes gone, connecting on Mason Greenwood's cross with a fine header.
Greenwood then put the game to bed in stoppage time with a thundering right-foot strike from inside the box.
United kept their slim title chances alive after Manchester City fell to Leeds United on Saturday.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are 11 points behind with a game in hand, while Spurs sit five points behind fourth-placed West Ham United.
Speaking after the game, Solskjaer said his team were 'on a mission' at Old Trafford.
"When you get the injustice and adversity, that decision [to disallow the goal] is just shocking and to come together," said Solskjaer. "Yeah, we lost our focus for maybe a few moments and minutes and unfortunately conceded a goal.
"But we came together and composed ourselves. We went there as a team on a mission, we looked like a team on a mission, that this is not going to derail our season."
