Regular passenger ops remain suspended: P’pine Embassy

Kota Kinabalu: The Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur (pic) clarified that the regular operations of commercial air and sea passenger vessels between Sandakan and Zamboanga remain suspended, in view of pandemic-related restrictions being implemented by both the Sabah State Government and the City Government of Zamboanga. 

Philippine Ambassador to Malaysia, Charles C Jose, said this following an article in Daily Express titled “They Can Join In Deportation” on April 15 where it was stated, among others, that stranded Filipinos in Sabah “may participate in the deportation exercise scheduled in Sandakan on Friday (April 15).”
