West Ham great Paolo di Canio rapped Timo Werner after Chelsea's 1-1 draw at Real Madrid.

Werner missed an open goal during the Champions League semifinal first-leg in Madrid.

“The attitude was wrong, it's not a finish you expect from an important player," Di Canio told Sky Italia.

“It seemed he was playing a game with his friends.

“Sometimes his teammates could have served him a little better, but his movements were not convincing and often he was not in the right position. Werner is very fast, but he is too frenetic too."
