M-cyclist leaves dog dead and pile-up near KK airport

Kota Kinabalu: An accident near the Kota Kinabalu International Airport left a motorcyclist with a fractured leg and a dog dead, here, Sunday.

The 7.40pm incident happened when the 30-year-old motorcyclist who was heading towards the city centre from Putatan direction lost control of his motorcycle after ploughing into the dog.

The dog died on the spot while the man was thrown out of this motorcycle onto the ground. The impact was so strong that he fractured his leg in the process. 

A Ford Ranger driven by a 40-year-old stopped behind the motorcycle and alighted from the car to assist the motorcyclist to the side of the road when an Avanza driven by a 22-year-old came crashing into the Ford Ranger.

Both the Ford Ranger and Avanza male drivers were shocked by the incident but escaped injuries.
