SMEs: Causes of uncompetitive Sabah exports

Kota Kinabalu: Lack of scale, logistics issues and high shipping cost caused Sabah exports to be uncompetitive, according to SME Association of Sabah (SME Sabah).

Its Founding President Foo Ngee Kee said in certain cases, it is caused by agro produce which are perishable and the infrequent shipping schedules.
