Derby County boss Wayne Rooney believes the Super League breakaway is inevitable.
Rooney has had his say on the controversy, with former club Manchester United a driving force behind the proposed 20 team competition. The England great insists it's too soon to judge the motivations behind the breakaway, though believes such a competition is inevitable. He also says it's crucial that the English football pyramid is protected.
