Reading defender Tomás Esteves knows he faces stiff competition should he return to parent club Porto this summer.
Esteves is currently on-loan with the Royals.
The young right-back will have the competition from Manafá, the first-choice starter this season.
Despite this, the Portuguese defender does not skimp on the praise of his teammate.
"Manafá is one of the best in FC Porto. He is playing very well and I am very happy for him, because we get along so well; he is my friend. I am happy he is doing well," he told O Jogo.
