Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg insists they still have plenty to play for this season.
With the Carabao Cup final looming, the Dane is adamant their campaign can still be rescued.
He told Ekstra Bladet: "If you compare with December, where we were at the forefront of everything, it looks different. But I do not want to paint hell on the wall. We are in the final of the League Cup and the top four is not impossible. We have eight finals left.
"It has been a year with many fights, many travels. We may have suffered a little from that. The hard program has worn us out and there have been some crucial moments where we have paid the price for it.
"If you are not prepared to fight for every metre or ball, you will be punished. That's the great thing about the Premier League. It is class that there is so much interest and a lot of pressure and expectations. That's what comes with playing for a big club like Tottenham. I am convinced that the future is bright for Tottenham Hotspur and the national team."
