Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was delighted with the manner of victory over Leicester City.
City had to bide their time before making the breakthrough thanks to Benjamin Mendy's fine 58th minute strike.
Gabriel Jesus then struck on 74 minutes to seal victory.
“We had a goal disallowed, hit the crossbar with Kevin. It was quite a similar game to Everton. We were patient, don't concede set pieces," Guardiola reflected.
“Be patient and attack in the right moments. We cannot win this game in 10 minutes. It needs 90, 95 minutes."
The boss also praised Mendy's calm assured strike for what was his second goal of the season.
“It was a great finish," Guardiola added.
