Liverpool are preparing to trigger Ozan Kabak's buyout clause in the summer.
The Reds signed Kabak on loan, with an option to buy, during the January transfer window from Schalke.
According to talkSPORT, the club's hierarchy has been so impressed that they want the centre-back to sign a permanent deal with the reigning Premier League champions.
That means Liverpool are likely to pay a fee in the region of £18million for the Turkey international in the summer.
