Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez admitted he miss hit the free kick that gave City a first leg advantage in their Champions League semi final against Paris Saint-Germain.
The home side had the bulk of the chances in the first half, and went in 1-0 up at the interval.
But City rallied in the second half, created several scoring chances, and eventually won 2-1 thanks to Kevin De Bruyne and Mahrez goals.
Asked about the free kick goal post-game, Mahrez told City's website: "I wanted to go around the wall to be honest and I missed it, it went between the two players and fortunately it was in.
"I was so happy, I knew we could win here and to score to make it 2-1 for the team was amazing."
