Kota Kinabalu: A man was found dead inside his car near a cemetery at Kg Divatto, in Penampang, on Tuesday.
The man, in his 40s, was found in an unconscious state at the driver’s seat of the vehicle at about 7.
30am.
Preliminary inspections found a hose attached from the car’s exhaust pipe into the vehicle through the rear window, according to Penampang Police Chief DSP Mohd Haris Ibrahim.
A note found at the scene indicated that a lover’s spat had triggered the man’s drastic action.
The body has been sent for a post mortem and the case classified as sudden death.
