West Ham United and England midfielder Declan Rice wants to emulate Manchester City great Yaya Toure.
The Ivorian, who starred with both Barcelona and City during his career, was one of the best all action midfielders in the Premier League during his peak.
Rice, who plays more of a defensive minded midfield role at club and international level, wants to add elements to his game that Toure possessed.
"I think Yaya Toure is the one," he said, per the Evening Standard.
"If I could ever get anywhere near his level I'd be delighted.
"I think he was probably the best at recognising when to pass and play short - but also recognising when there's space to step into it and really drive the team up the pitch."
