City status for S’kan next year?

SANDAKAN: The Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS) could be upgraded to city status by early 2022. 

State Local Government and Housing Assistant Minister I, Datuk Isnin Aliasnih, said he is confident this can be realised in view of the commitment from the MPS President, officers and staff who continue to work hard despite the pandemic in addition to the MPS’ revenue.
