Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has defended Jose Mourinho by admitting the Tottenham Hotspur manager doesn't always get the coverage he deserves.
The Norwegian coach will be reunited with the man he replaced at United when he takes his side to face Spurs in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Ahead of the rematch Solskjaer has revealed Mourinho was 'dignified' and 'almost apologetic' after the Old Trafford rout, with the United manager still full of respect for his opposite number.
"Jose Mourinho was very dignified after the game – from what I remember," Solskjaer told reporters. "He was almost apologetic because he knew how hard it was for me to take.
"I have the utmost respect for Jose, and you shouldn't always believe all that is said and written about him here. There were plenty of positives from his time and he has been a manager who I look up to."
