Real Madrid fullback Dani Carvajal's season is over.
The defender suffered a muscle strain against Chelsea and on Thursday the club confirmed the bad news in an official statement.
After returning last week against Cádiz and starting for the first time in two months against Chelsea, Carvajal was injured and after training this morning Real confirmed that he suffered "an injury of the semimembranosus muscle of the right leg".
There are also concerns that Carvajal will miss this summer's Euros with Spain.
