Tawau folks urged to help police halt street begging

TAWAU: Tawau Member of Parliament Datuk Christina Liew (pic) urged the residents to cooperate with the police in putting a halt to “organised” street begging activities here. 

The former Deputy Chief Minister said the least responsible citizens can do is tipping off the police if they have knowledge of unscrupulous individuals or groups involved in getting children to beg in the streets.
