PSG's owners have long been trying to bring Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola to Paris.
Ahead of the first-leg of their Champions League semifinal this week, Le Parisien has revisited PSG's attempts to hire Guardiola.
In trying to appoint him for their national team, PSG's Qatari owners also made an attempt to bring him to Paris.
Ahead of the 2015/16 season, lengthy talks were held between the two camps after Guardiola had left Bayern Munich.
However, in the end PSG chose to extend the contract of Laurent Blanc, only to sack him later that season.
