Manchester City midfielder Rodri hopes his departing teammate Sergio Aguero will join another big club this summer.

The Argentine is departing City after a decade at the club, as their highest goalscorer ever.

While Rodri will miss Aguero next term, he hopes the sharp shooter can find a great team to continue his footballing journey.

"I hope he goes to a big club because that is what he deserves. He's one of the greatest goalscorers of the last decade, there's no doubt about it," he said in a Spain press briefing, per the Manchester Evening News.

"I'm close to him, we share a friendship and I wish him all the best. I think he's had a highly successful time at Manchester City, becoming the top goalscorer in the club's history. He deserves a great farewell."

PSG, Juventus and Barcelona have all been linked with the 32-year-old.
