Kota Kinabalu: The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) State Government has set up a Technical Committee on Illegal Immigrants (PTI), Foreign Workers and State Border Security to work with the Technical Committee on Management of Foreigners in Sabah (JKPWAS-TEKNIKAL) at Federal-level as a means to completely resolve these longstanding issues in Sabah.
Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, who chairs the State-level committee, said two committees namely Security Committee chaired by Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hazani Ghazali and the PTI and Foreign Workers Committee chaired by Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Haji Mulia have been formed under this technical committee.
