Harris’ claims are fiction: Yong

Kota Kinabalu: Two former chief ministers who are a generation apart and have slugged it out in court before seem to have put on the gloves again for a different reason.

What began as a query by Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee to Tan Sri Harris Salleh on the circumstances that led to the downgrade of Sabah and Sarawak as ordinary states with Malaya’s 11 through an amendment to the Federal Constitution during the latter’s Berjaya era in 1976, has taken a different turn.
