Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto is in talks to sign Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
Giroud is off contract at the end of the season and his future with the Blues is clouded given his limited action under manager Thomas Tuchel.
Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira is reporting Giroud has already chosen to leave Chelsea.
And Pinto has made his move, opening talks with the veteran's agents in recent days.
