Liverpool are working on new contracts for six first teamers.
PA Sport says the Reds are now seeking to extend the current deals of six first-team starters, including Virgil van Dijk.
The Dutch defender will miss this summer's European Championships as he aims to return for the Reds at the start of next season, with Liverpool set to put their faith in his recovery by issuing him with a new contract.
Goalkeeper Alisson Becker, flying full-backs Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson, influential midfielder Fabinho and top scorer Mohamed Salah are also being lined up for new contract talks.
The addition of Champions League football is set to remove any suggestion that any of them will leave.
