Anderlecht striker Lukas Nmecha has opened the door to staying next season.

The on-loan Manchester City goalscorer has been outstanding for Vincent Kompany's Anderlecht this term.

He told Sporza:"If we take a Champions League ticket, it will be a little more likely that I will stay. And I also look at what other players are doing. Lokonga and El Hadj, for example, also have options, but if they stay, it could influence my decision."

However, Nmecha admits criticism from a section of the Anderlecht support has hurt him.

He added: "People will always talk, that doesn't interest me. That I only score penalties? Those are goals too. If we get five more penalties in the play-offs, I would be happy to take them all."
