Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez is keen on a move to Manchester United.
The Mirror says Saul will push to join United in the summer transfer window - and Atletico Madrid could sell him for £40m.
Saul is believed to be on a shortlist of defensive midfield options as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to strengthen his squad this summer.
The Premier League giants could face competition for the 26-year-old from Juventus and Paris-Saint Germain, who have also shown an interest after he played a crucial role in Atletico's La Liga title triumph.
But the Spain international would prefer a move to United, with Juve his second choice.
Saul has a buyout clause of around £60million - but it is thought Atletico will listen to offers closer to the £40m mark.
