Spezia coach Vincenzo Italiano is preparing for talks about his future.
After keeping Spezia up, Italiano is being linked with Sassuolo, where coach Roberto de Zerbi will leave this summer.
“I'm waiting to speak with the new owner," Italiano told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I would like to hear what they have to say, what projects they have in mind.
“We are all ambitious. In any case, I still have one year left on my contract. It's the same situation as one year ago.
Spezia have included a €1m clause in the contract with Italiano, in case of a unilateral termination of the contract.
“The club wanted it," Italiano added. “I don't think it's a problem."
