David Gill is joining Sir Alex Ferguson in traveling to Gdansk to see Manchester United meet Villarreal in the Europa League final.
United will take on Villarreal in the final on Wednesday and both Ferguson and Gill will be in attendance, having been pictured joining the squad on their flight to Poland.
Former manager Ferguson and ex-CEO Gill oversaw the club's most successful era before both men left United in 2013.
United are hoping to win their first piece of silverware under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and they may be without club captain Harry Maguire.
The 28-year-old has missed United's last four games with an ankle injury and, despite being named in the squad for the final, he faces a late fitness test.
