Former Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness insists they were never interested in Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum.
Off contract at the end of next month, Wijnaldum's representatives have twice held talks with Barcelona officials at the Nou Camp this week.
Bayern were also linked with the midfielder, though Hoeness rejects the claim.
Hoeness told Sport1: "I heard that we are not at all interested in this player. There will be no big transfers. Can you forget this?
"This was discussed between the management board and the supervisory board during the last meeting."
