Sheffield Wednesday hope to sign Southampton youngster David Agbontohoma this summer.
The youngster has been on trial with the club, and impressed in their Under-23 side's 2-1 win over Watford last week.
Agbontohoma is a free agent this summer, and Sheffield Wednesday will attempt to tie up a deal in the coming weeks, per Yorkshire Live.
The 19-year-old, who spent time at Arsenal's academy, earned his first pro deal with Southampton last summer, but has not made an impression with the Premier League club's first team.
A permanent move to Wednesday would present him with a more promising path to regular first team football.
