Barcelona are pushing Atletico Madrid to open swap talks involving Antoine Griezmann and Joao Felix.
Esport3's Lluis Canut reports the fact Jorge Mendes is the agent of Felix makes a possible swap deal possible.
Atletico would be delighted to have Griezmann back at the club, while Barça would like to get his salary off the wage bill.
Such an exchange was supposedly on the table last summer, but Atletico rejected it at the time as they felt it wasn't a fair deal.
Now, they're not so sure it would be unfair after a decent season from Griezmann and a disappointing one from Felix.
On Tuesday, Atletico president Enrique Cerezo told El Larguero he wouldn't close the door on bringing Griezmann back to the club.
"I hope to bring Griezmann back but I don't think Barça want to get rid of him," he said.
On Felix, he added: "There's no chance he leaves."
