KIULU: A small group gathered recently under the scorching sun to witness the slaughter of a buffalo near the river at Kg Libodon, here, about two hours’ drive from Kota Kinabalu.
It was to symbolise peace and reconciliation among the community held in conjunction with the State-level Kaamatan Festival.
