Tenom: The villagers of Kampung Motolop Ulu Pangi, here, urged the State Government, especially the Chief Minister, to instruct the Sabah Forest Industries Sdn Bhd (SFI) contractor to remove its logging machinery from an area labelled as L17 within the SFI concession area, which they claim is their Native Customary Right (NCR) land.
Village Chief Soromon @ Presaly Tandun (pic) said they are puzzled why the SFI contractor is still bringing out logs from their village area (L17) to send to the SFI stamping when the process for tender offer is still being done.
