Gigi Buffon has expanded on his decision to leave Juventus at the end of the season.
The 43 year-old goalkeeper has left the door open to playing on next term.
“Every beginning also has an end. This is the end of my second half at Juve," Buffon posted to social media.
“It is a decision made, matured and announced months ago already. But it is not an easy decision. Because it is not easy to cut this umbilical cord, from my history, my joy, my tears, my home.
“There can never be a thank you big enough to cover it. I gave everything. I received even more in return.
“What will come is still to be written. And to be experienced. Always, fino alla fine."
