Manchester United and England defender Harry Maguire believes the Three Lions are more experienced as they head into Euro 2020.
Under the guidance of Gareth Southgate, England have reached the last four of a World Cup and the Nations League finals.
Maguire, who is facing a battle to regain fitness in time for the tournament, believes past experiences will help them in the pressure cooker atmosphere of the European Championships this summer.
"I feel like the squad is more experienced, we have more leadership in the squad," Maguire said on the YouTube show Overlap - hosted by Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville.
"A lot of players play in big games regularly, Liverpool have won the Champions League and the Man City lads have done really well this season.
"There's experience of playing in these big games, but international games are decided on big moments.
"It's an exciting time to be an England fan, but we've still got a lot of improvement to make."
