Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is floating this morning after winning the Champions League.
Mendy has completed a first season with Chelsea as a European champion.
He said, "It's quite exceptional. I feel like I'm living a daydream! I gave myself the means to experience this kind of match. I take that as a reward for myself and my family, the people who were there when things were wrong.
"I have a thought for Christophe Lollichon and Petr Cech who pushed for me to sign here. For a footballer, the Champions League is the pinnacle. It's extraordinary when you know that the club has won it only once.
"I take this opportunity to thank Frank Lampard and Jody Morris, we started the season with them."
