Former Barcelona assistant coach Henk ten Cate can see Gini Wijnaldum returning to the Eredivisie this summer.
The midfielder has announced he is leaving Liverpool as his contract runs down next month and Ten Cate can see a return to Holland on the horizon.
He said on Rondo: "I really mean that. That could just be, because he's such a type of boy. He follows his feelings. Feyenoord? That could be, or PSV."
Dutch great Marco van Basten, meanwhile, is baffled that Wijnaldum could be playing for Holland at the Euros as a free agent.
He said, "He is going to play a European Championship and it is strange that it is not yet known. It may also be distracting, because if he is working with clubs during the European Championship, then you are not completely there."
