Tom Heaton has agreed to act as an understudy to David de Gea and Dean Henderson at Manchester United.
The Englishman was apart of the United squad for eight years from 2002-2010 but never made a first-team appearance.
According to The Athletic, the 35-year-old will return to Old Trafford on a free transfer this summer.
