Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is set to be named in France's preliminary Euros squad by coach Didier Deschamps.
Benzema hasn't been considered by Deschamps since before the 2016 Euros, but the coach has changed his thinking given concerns around his attacking options.
With Chelsea veteran Olivier Giroud struggling for minutes and Antoine Griezmann out of form with Barcelona, Deschamps is turning to Benzema.
The Frenchman has long been in outstanding form for Real Madrid - though was always ignored by Deschamps after being caught up in an alleged blackmail plot five years ago.
But Le Parisien says the France coach has now relented and will include Benzema in his initial squad selection.
