Barcelona chiefs are debating reviving a Bosman move for Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum.
Off contract in June, Wijnaldum has found himself in limbo after Barca pulled back from pre-contract talks earlier this year.
The midfielder was offered to Bayern Munich, but his personal terms were deemed too rich by the German giants.
However, Mundo Deportivo says Barca are now reconsidering their position, with football chiefs arguing their squad lacks physical presence, particularly amongst their midfield options.
As such, Barca are now discussing reviving talks with Wijnaldum's camp about a summer Bosman move. However, the midfielder will have to keep his personal demands in-check as the new Blaugrana board attempt to arrest growing debts.
