Former Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira has announced that he will be retiring at the end of the season.

The 34-year-old, currently with Hertha Berlin, has had an illustrious 15-year career with the German national team and massive European clubs like Real Madrid and Juventus.

Khedira started his career at Stuttgart, before an impressive 2010 World Cup earned him a move to Los Blancos that summer.

With Madrid, Khedira won LaLiga Santander in 2012 and the Champions League in 2014.
