Andrea Pirlo could yet jump straight back into a new Serie A job after his dismissal by Juventus today.
Juve confirmed Pirlo's departure this morning and the Italian admits the past season has convinced him he wants a coaching career.
"This adventure, despite an unexpected ending, made it even clearer what I would like my future to be, which I hope is as complete and full of satisfactions as what I experienced as a footballer," said Pirlo.
"It's time to get back into the game and face new challenges."
A move to Sassuolo is now mooted for Pirlo after Roberto de Zerbi's departure to Shakhtar Donetsk.
