Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers defended his players after the loss to Chelsea on Tuesday.
The Foxes beat Chelsea in the FA Cup final on Saturday but could not repeat the result at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, denting their top-four hopes.
But Rodgers said his team gave their all and were not guilty of losing focus.
He told Sky Sports: "Very hard fought game, I thought we weathered the storm in the first 20 minutes against a top class team with lots of talent. Disappointed with the two goals, conceded a cheap corner for the first and there was barely any contact for the second, a very hard penalty. We fought back, kept working and threw everything in the last 15 minutes.
"A tough schedule off the back of the weekend, we knew we would have to be tight and compact even though we rode our luck at times. They are Champions League finalists so are a decent team.
"We talked about it, it was an amazing victory and you have to park that success. We will have time to celebrate that in the summer but the players gave everything, there was no loss of focus or distraction, it was just a tight turnaround."
