Inter Milan defeated AC Milan in Wednesday's U19 derby.
Inter U19 beat their Rossoneri counterparts by a goal to nil and took a two-point lead over Juventus at the top of the table. Madonna's side is clinical and winner; the game was decided by a Martin Satriano goal on the half-hour mark.
After the two teams took a while to work each other out, AC Milan had a massive chance to take the lead. Vezzoni was adjudged to have fouled Olzer and the Rossoneri were awarded a penalty; Olzer stepped up to take it by Stankovic produced an excellent save and pushed the spot kick behind for a corner (11').
The Nerazzurri grew into it as the game wore on and went close to the opener through Oristiano. The Inter number 10 was heavily involved and the Nerazzurri's lead developed from his good work; shot saved and a tap-in on the slide for Martin Satriano. Inter in front after half an hour.
As the first half drew to a close, Satriano missed the chance to double Inter's lead, but he headed off target.
Oristiano was a central figure after the break too as he skipped away down the left but hit his effort straight at Jungdal.
There was plenty of effort in the second half but very few goalscoring opportunities for either side.
