Kota Kinabalu: Sepanggar Member of Parliament, Datuk Mohd Azis Jamman, called on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to investigate outgoing Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador’s recent allegation of political interference within the police force. “As a former deputy home minister, I agree with Abdul Hamid’s suggestion that the Police Force Commission (SPP) chairman should be led by someone who has credibility and integrity and is not influenced by political forces.
