PUTATAN: Taman Ketiau, here, will be placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (Emco) starting this midnight, police have confirmed.
The information was shared by one of the residents in the area through two audio recordings.
The audio recordings, which lasted 1 minute 22 seconds and 44 seconds, advise residents in the area not to panic as assistance will be provided and ask them to cooperate fully.
According to a source, the Emco is implemented following a cluster recently found at the Karamunsing shopping mall and that some workers there live in one of the Taman Ketiau blocks.
Penampang Police Chief DSP Mohd Haris Ibrahim, when contacted by Daily Express on Monday, confirmed that the Emco will be implemented this midnight.
Information regarding the Emco period and number of cases detected in that area is not known at press time.
