Chelsea hero Joe Cole admits they passed on Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero ten years ago.
Cole claims that the Blues decided against signing Sergio Aguero because of 'his shape'.
Speaking ahead of Aguero making his final appearance in a City shirt in Saturday's Champions League final against Chelsea, Cole revealed how his former club turned down the chance to sign the Argentine from Atletico Madrid in 2009.
Cole told BT Sport: "Chelsea were after him. They looked at this shape. I think maybe the shape of him they passed on him at the time, which was obviously a mistake."
