BEAUFORT: Six shanties occupying a mangrove reserve, here, that housed five members of the Abu Sayyaf terrorist group who were killed in a shootout with police earlier were destroyed, Friday.
New Beaufort Police Chief DSP Yusoff Zaki Mat Yaacob said two areas were raided in the area on May 8 and 17. They were identified as points A and B.
